National Purple Rotating Safety Light
A striking purple National rotating safety light, manufactured under the National brand, part of the Panasonic family.
Finished in deep translucent purple, these distinctive lights have a fantastic period Japanese automotive look. This unit is in great condition and has been tested and confirmed functional.
The National name has a long history in Japan. Established by Panasonic founder Konosuke Matsushita, the brand first appeared on lamps in 1927 and became a familiar name across Japanese electrical products. Panasonic later adopted its global branding, while National remained strongly associated with the Japanese domestic market.
These lights capture a fun side of Japanese car culture: the colourful accessories and distinctive electrical equipment that enthusiasts fitted to personalise their cars. Their vivid purple lenses make them equally appealing for a period-style Japanese vehicle, a garage display or an automotive memorabilia collection.
